Ty Barrett: OU linemen 'were on it'

Class of 2014 offensive tackle Ty Barrett (Dallas/Skyline) was one of the many recruits in attendance for Oklahoma’s big win over Texas at the 107th Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl.

Barrett, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle, has offers from West Virginia, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette and Morgan State, but he also has heavy interest from both Oklahoma and Texas. Barrett had a chance not only to enjoy being a part of the 92,500 in attendance but also check out how both offensive lines contained the defensive ends.

“OU dominated, but the atmosphere was crazy,” Barrett said. “I went to the game last year, but this year, there was something different. It was out of control.
