Back in May nobody knew much about 2014 athlete Steven Parker (Jenks, Okla./Jenks), That’s not a problem anymore. Oklahoma defensive backs coach Mike Stoops got the ball rolling by offering Parker first. Since then, Oklahoma State and Alabama have thrown their hats into the ring, too.

Parker, who is 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, has switched from cornerback to safety for his junior season and said the transition has gone well. He was at OU last weekend for its loss to Kansas State, the first time he has attended a Sooners game as a recruit and not just as a fan.
