Q&A: 2014 Okla. athlete Michael Farmer

Edmond, Okla., is becoming a popular destination for the Oklahoma coaching staff in the last few years. And with the talent there now, the Sooners will certainly stick around the area.

Most of the attention is focused on Edmond Santa Fe and 2014 quarterback Justice Hansen. But there is another 2014 athlete from Edmond making noise in Edmond North’s Michael Farmer. He transferred to Edmond North in the summer, and at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, got a taste of OU at the spring game. In limited time, he has two rushing touchdowns this season as the Edmond North coaching staff is trying to make sure he is healthy for the season. He returned to Norman last Saturday for OU’s 69-13 victory against Florida A&M.
