Zach Banner (Lakewood, Wash./Lakes) is one of the biggest recruits in the nation, both figuratively and literally.

The ESPN150 member made his official visit to Oklahoma this weekend to get a first-hand look at the Sooners’ 38-28 win over Missouri.

After returning to Washington on Sunday, Banner said via text message he isn’t planning to speak publicly about his recruitment for a while, but “I’ll tell you what though, my visit went good.”

Landing Banner, who has offers from Michigan, USC, Notre Dame, Washington and others would be a great get for the Sooners. The 6-foot-8, 305-pound offensive tackle prospect is ranked No. 123 in the ESPN150.

With seniors Donald Stephenson and Jarvis Jones among the Sooners top four offensive tackles this season, along with junior Lane Johnson and redshirt freshman Daryl Williams, the opportunity to come in and earn a spot on the depth chart could be intriguing to Banner.
