Originally hoping to make a visit for OU's game against Missouri, OU verbal commit Eric Striker (Seffner, Fla./Armwood) was unable to make the trip.

And he ruled out a potential visit when Texas A&M comes to town in November. The Aggies game is appearing to be the game several of the commits are trying to attend. But that doesn’t mean he’s second-guessing his commitment.

“No, not at all. I’m still good,” Striker said. “It’s just tough trying to fit in a visit during the high school season.”

He hasn’t lost hope about a visit, though.

“I really think Texas Tech [Oct. 22] might work,” Striker said. “We play Thursday, so that helps.”

Striker, 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, said OU coaches are looking at him to play either linebacker or safety as perhaps a nickelback.
