The AP has released its All-America team, and the Big 12 is fairly well represented. Here’s a link to the full list. And here are the Big 12 players that earned recognition:

FIRST TEAM

Tight end: Jace Amaro, Texas Tech

Offensive guard: Cyril Richardson, Baylor

Defensive end: Jackson Jeffcoat, Texas

SECOND TEAM

Center: Gabe Ikard, Oklahoma

Cornerback: Justin Gilbert, Oklahoma State

Cornerback: Jason Verrett, TCU

Safety: Ahmad Dixon, Baylor

Kicker: Anthony Fera, Texas

THIRD TEAM

Safety: Ty Zimmerman, Kansas State
