Here are the helmet stickers after Oklahoma’s 51-20 win over Tulsa.

Quarterback Blake Bell: Oklahoma’s offense looked explosive, high-scoring and efficient for the first time in 2013. And Bell was the driving force behind the transformation. The junior finished 27 of 37 for 413 yards and four touchdowns and no turnovers in his first collegiate start. He was disappointed when he lost the battle to earn the starting quarterback position in August, but he kept working and has a stranglehold on the starting position now.

Receiver Sterling Shepard: The sophomore had been surprisingly quiet for the first two games of 2013. He announced himself as one of the Big 12’s potential breakout players with a eight-reception, 123-yard and two-touchdown performance against Tulsa. His ability to stretch the defense and find openings in the secondary made Bell’s first start a little bit easier on Saturday.

Linebacker Frank Shannon: The sophomore was all over the field for the Sooners’ defense after finishing with 10 tackles, including six solo stops. OU’s linebacker play has been much improved over last season and Shannon’s is a big reason why. As the Sooners face more teams that try to run the football, he will be counted on even more to shoulder the burden of stopping the run.
