Should Sooners expand Saunders' role?

Days before the Sooners annual Red River Rivalry game with Texas, Bob Stoops couldn’t keep the look of excitement off his face. The Oklahoma coach walked into the Adrian Peterson Team Meeting Room to meet the media with a gleam of joy in his eye.

He’d just learned that receiver Jalen Saunders, who had transferred from Fresno State, had been granted a waiver by the NCAA and was eligible to play immediately. Few outside of the program knew how explosive the California native would be, but Stoops reaction to his clearance was the first sign OU had something special.
