NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma offered more than 30 offensive tackles for the Class of 2013. Many of those came in the final couple of months leading up to national signing day as former coach Bruce Kittle was scrambling to find quality prospects.
The Sooners didn’t find all the answers when it was all said and done. Kittle has now been replaced by Bill Bedenbaugh. Though OU doesn’t have a committed offensive lineman, the Sooners seem to be in better position with some top prospects. OU has offered 18 offensive tackles and eight offensive guards for the Class of 2014.
Six of those tackle offers are to recruits who have already committed to other schools, while three guards have already pledged elsewhere.
