All Class of 2014 safety Steven Parker (Jenks, Okla./Jenks) wanted for the weekend was a victory in the Oklahoma state semifinals. Anything after that was just icing on the cake.
He did his part Friday with an interception in a dominating 41-10 win against rival Tulsa (Okla.) Union. And he almost made it a weekend he would never forget.
Parker, making his third unofficial visit to Oklahoma, said he was close to committing to the Sooners this weekend but has decided to wait.
