Four-star PG Woodard signs with Sooners

EDMOND, Okla. -- From the first time Edmond (Okla.) Memorial basketball coach Shane Cowherd saw Jordan Woodard play in junior high, Cowherd realized he had something special.

Four years later and nothing has changed. Woodard, a four-star prospect, made it official by signing with Oklahoma at a ceremony outside the gym on Wednesday morning.

Woodard, who is 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, had a final three of OU, Memphis and Stanford but said he likes what Lon Kruger is trying to build with the Sooners.
