NORMAN, Okla. -- ESPN's "College GameDay" is headed to Norman, Okla., for the top-10 battle between Oklahoma and Notre Dame on Oct. 28.

The weekly college football show will be on hand at an Oklahoma game for the 28th time. OU ranks No. 3 nationally in the category behind Florida (35 appearances) and Ohio State (30 appearances). "College GameDay" returns to Norman for the first time since 2008, when the show was on campus for OU's 65-21 blowout win over Texas Tech.

OU is 19-8 in games when GameDay was on hand and 5-1 in games at Owen Field. OU's last appearance was for the Red River Rivalry last year in Dallas.

OU hosts Notre Dame at 7 p.m. on ABC.
