The football just seems to find Javon Harris.
The Oklahoma safety put the game away with his 46-yard interception return in the 41-20 win over Texas Tech on Oct. 6.
A much-maligned figure after the 2011 season thanks to an admittedly bad game against Baylor, Harris didn’t let his confidence waver. The senior ranks second on the squad with 26 tackles including one tackle for loss while adding two interceptions and a pass breakup.
“He definitely finds the ball and that goes back to preparation,” cornerback Aaron Colvin said. “He’s in the right place at the right time. Things happen for a reason. Your preparation allows you to do some things and I feel like that’s why he makes a lot of plays.”
