After suffering a 24-19 upset loss at the hands of Kansas State on Sept. 22, Oklahoma started to change the energy in its practices on Monday.
“We just took a loss, early (in the season),” safety Tony Jefferson said. “Guys are trying to get back out there, we want to redeem ourselves. I saw a little pep in the step.”
Several Sooners have talked about practice since the loss, whether it be focus in practice, attention to detail in practice or just game preparation in general. No matter what happens, the Sooners need to change something about the way they have been preparing for games or this season could end up matching last year in terms of overall disappointment.
