Campus location: Manhattan, Kan.
Conference: Big 12
Record vs. OU: 17-71-4
Last game: Kansas State QB Collin Klein connected with Tramaine Thompson for their second touchdown. John Hubert tacked on a TD run moments later, and Klein's fourth-quarter score allowed the Wildcats to escape North Texas, 35-21.
Key player: Klein is one of the best rushing QBs in the country, but he can throw, too, averaging more than 200 yards passing per game.
Why Kansas State might win: The Wildcats are one of the best-coached teams in the country, with a tested veteran QB in Klein. If the Wildcats can consistently run the ball against OU, they’ll have a chance.
Why Kansas State might lose: K-State struggled to stop OU’s passing attack last season, as the ‘Cats gave up 58 points. If OU can run the ball with Damien Williams, too, it could be a long night for K-State.
