Oklahoma Sooners: Georgia Bulldogs
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- It’s been a productive week to start the summer for 2015 quarterback Ty Storey (Charleston, Ark./Charleston). He’s already camped at Alabama and Oklahoma, drawing serious interest from the Crimson Tide and Sooners.

Coming out of high school, offensive lineman Avery Gennesy (Southaven, Miss./East Mississippi C.C.) had offers from programs such as Arkansas State, UAB, Southern Miss, Memphis and FIU. But the 6-foot-4, 285 pound prospect ended up going the juco route, and Gennesy is making the most of his second chance.

MANVEL, Texas -- When 2015 tight end Jordan Davis (Houston/Clear Lake) committed to Florida State in March, he acknowledged that he knew other schools and coaches would continue to recruit him in the coming months and years.
Perhaps what caught him a little off guard was how quickly others threw their hat in the ring.

ALLEN, Texas -- Some recruits have been all over the country and have taken visits to all their top schools. But ESPN Watch List defensive end Deondre Clark (Oklahoma City/Douglass) isn't one of them.
Clark hasn't ventured far from Oklahoma this year, and that won't change anytime soon. But he definitely will look at schools outside the state.

When offer No. 31 came in for Washington (Pa.) running back Shai McKenzie last week, he figured it was time to start cutting his list. It sounds simple, but McKenzie had a harder time when it came to putting pen to paper.
“He struggled to make a list,” Washington coach Mike Bosnic said. “He’s really unsure.”

YUKON, Okla. -- The priorities are simple for the Clark brothers at Oklahoma City Douglass. The player-coach relationship means more than anything else.
It’s the reason Oklahoma State was able to nab ESPN 100 point guard Stevie Clark for its 2013 class, as OSU coach Travis Ford and the Clark family have developed that tight bond.

For the next three weeks, SoonerNation is going to profile the OKPreps’ 14 for ’14: a look at some of the top names and where they stand with OU.

Forgive offensive tackle Jordan Sims (Homewood, Ala./Homewood) if he seems rather stunned. He has had a busy afternoon. After returning from Auburn on Saturday -- where he picked up an offer from the Tigers -- he received a couple messages to call various coaches after school. Sims did so, and now his offer list has grown yet again.

Considered the biggest junior college name left uncommitted, four-star defensive tackle Toby Johnson (Hutchinson, Kan./Hutchinson Community College) is taking his decision to national signing day.
Johnson, the No. 4 player in the ESPN Junior College 100, said he will choose among Georgia, Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Auburn on Feb. 6. On Monday, Johnson hosted Georgia on an in-home visit.
“It was a good visit. They were making sure I’m good with everything,” said Johnson, who is rehabbing a torn ACL in his right knee. “With signing day coming, they were just making sure everybody’s on the right page. They’re still in the mix for me.”
Johnson said he still keeps in contact with Auburn defensive line coach Rodney Garner quite frequently. Johnson also is preparing for in-home visits with Mississippi State and Oklahoma. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound defensive tackle originally from College Park, Ga., has additional offers from Florida, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Nebraska, USC, Missouri and a host of other programs.

Streeter Lecka/Getty ImagesAlabama, with three of the past four national titles, is No. 1 in the Way-Too-Early Top 25 for 2013.There are still seven months before the start of the 2013 season, and the teams and their order figure to change frequently, but it's never too early to take a look at the Way-Too-Early Top 25 for 2013.
And with three national championships in the past four years, there's no reason to change the team that's on top. Oklahoma will try to make it back to the top from the No. 17 spot.

Quarterback David Cornwell (Jones, Okla./Jones) came out of nowhere to have an exceptional junior season and is now unquestionably one of the top in-state prospects for the Class of 2014.
Problem is, though, neither Oklahoma nor in-state power Oklahoma State have shown much interest. Cornwell camped at OU and had good contact with former OSU quarterbacks coach Todd Monken.
With Monken’s departure to become the Southern Mississippi head coach combined with little interest from OU quarterbacks coach Josh Heupel thus far, right now it looks like one of the state’s best prospects will have to look elsewhere.
