Michigan basketball coach John Beilein wrapped up his 10 minutes with the media on the Big Ten call a little while ago.
Beilein's squad starts finals Thursday -- but has one game, against Arkansas Pine Bluff on Tuesday -- and has less than a handful of games left before Big Ten play starts.
Here's what Beilein said -- in always-easy bullet form:
Beilein on Trey Burke, who was named Big Ten freshman of the week Monday: "He has performed atypical of some freshmen, most freshmen. First of all, it’s unusual to have a void at a starting position like we had at the point guard. He was able to come in and work pretty hard in the preseason and he earned it, there’s no question about it, but now for him to be playing 30, 35 minutes a game and to be playing at a high level all 30 or 35 says a lot about his personality, his desire to win and be a good player, really become a good Big Ten player."
