WR options for 2013

March, 14, 2012
Michigan looks to be taking three wide receivers in the 2013 class, and the coaching staff has plenty of early options. With one wideout already on board in Jaron Dukes (Columbus, Ohio/Marion-Franklin), there are likely two spots left. WolverineNation takes a look at some of the top current targets for the Wolverines.

2013 Wide receiver targets:

Devon Allen

Devon Allen (Phoenix/Brophy): At 6-foot, 187 pounds, Allen has good size for the type of receiver he is. The Michigan coaching staff has told Allen they see him as a speedy, stretch-the-field receiver, and there's a good reason why. He's not only a tremendous football prospect but a track star. His speed would give the coaching staff a different dimension from a receiver within this class, and the Wolverines want him badly. Despite the fact Allen's father attended Ohio State, the younger Allen has expressed interest in pursuing an engineering degree and believes Michigan is one of the top schools in that field. Allen and his father are looking to visit a few Midwest schools, including Michigan, in the summer.
