Michigan redshirt junior linebacker Isaiah Bell is no longer with the football team, a Michigan spokesperson confirmed Sunday evening.

Bell, from Youngstown, Ohio, did not play a snap in his career with Michigan. The former high school teammate of running back Fitzgerald Toussaint played in the Ohio-Pennsylvania Big 33 Game his senior year.

The 6-foot-1, 250-pound Bell was the No. 11 safety in the country coming out of high school in the Class of 2009 ESPNU rankings.

An email to Bell seeking comment was not immediately returned to WolverineNation.
