Recruit survey: 2012 class tells all

Recruiting can be a behind-closed-doors process, with prospects keeping how they really feel on the inside. They can profess their love for one school, but eventually decide to commit to another.

WolverineNation decided to take an anonymous survey with some of Michigan’s commitments to give a look behind the scenes of their recruitment, and a little about their knowledge of Michigan. The same questions were asked of all the commitments that participated, and are revealed anonymously as to get the most honest answers.

“A coach told me that he would be there once I came, and then he left.”

“I heard on a visit from a coach that I would play as a freshman, and that my name would be on a billboard. They’d put my name on a billboard.”

“Girls told me that their dads would only let them have a baby from a kid on the football team.”

“When I asked a school if there was anything unique about them, or what made them cool, the coaches answered by telling me that they have a three to one girl to guy ratio.”
