Michigan is still looking to fill one more spot on the offensive line in its 2012 recruiting class. Jordan Diamond (Chicago/Simeon) has been on the short list of prospects Michigan is hoping to land.
Diamond has been taking visits across the country looking for the best fit for him. He has made it very clear that he plans on taking his time with his decision. He even has a big event planned for signing day when he will be ready to make his announcement.
Today Diamond got a little bit closer to his decision as he released his top five schools.
He tweeted the list, and said that they are in no order, Ohio State, Auburn, Arkansas, Wisconsin and Michigan.
Diamond has also recently said that he plans on taking a visit to Ann Arbor sometime in January. Michigan will get its shot to host the four-star lineman relatively close to his decision date. Whether that will help the Wolverines is yet to be seen.
His next trip will be out to Auburn on Friday morning, and the Tigers have plenty of questions now that offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn has left the Tigers' program.
