Quick hits from Beilein's radio show

December, 12, 2011
Michigan coach John Beilein just finished up his second radio show of the season. A small crowd showed -- likely due to the Michigan football bust happening at the same time -- but here are some of the highlights from Beilein's show at Pizza House in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Monday night.

On playing in the Palace, an NBA arena: "It is just big, massive with the extra deck. Depth might be a little bit different. Two years in a row we shot the heck out of it. We did think it was necessary to shoot around in the morning."

On who else does the talking besides Zack Novak in the locker room: "Tim (Hardaway Jr.) says a lot, and Trey Burke really understands the momentum of the game. He doesn’t speak as often as Zack, but he speaks now."
