Receiver Laquon Treadwell (Crete, Ill./Crete-Monee) is only a junior, but he has already experienced two of the most exciting games of the past few years. He was on hand earlier this season when Michigan beat Notre Dame in the first night game at the Big House and again this weekend when Michigan beat Ohio State.
He had already seen a good amount of what the Wolverines have to offer, so this visit was just an extra bonus for the Wolverines.
"I just loved the game a lot," he said. "It got me just a bit closer (to a decision)."
Treadwell would like to have his decision out of the way before his senior season starts. With his teammate, 2012 defensive back Anthony Standifer, already committed to Michigan, the Wolverines have put themselves in the driver's seat to land Treadwell.
An important aspect of Treadwell's recruitment, however, will be how his mom feels about each school. She has yet to make it up to Ann Arbor for a game, so that will have to happen before he will decide.
When asked when he wants to get his mother up for a visit he responded with, "Immediately."
The 6-foot-2, 190 pound pass catcher currently holds offers from Michigan and Notre Dame. If coach Brady Hoke and his staff can get his next visit scheduled there could be another reason to celebrate soon in Ann Arbor.
