ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Two weeks after a disappointing showing at the Dallas Elite 11 event, 2013 quarterback commit Shane Morris came to Ann Arbor for the Adidas Invitational last Saturday and showed a marked improvement over a short period of time.
Morris had been criticized for a lack of consistency and accuracy in Dallas and spent time with quarterback coach Ron Bonin leading up to the Adidas event.
"I thought I did pretty well, and obviously there are still a lot of things that I need to work on," Morris said. "But I think I did a lot better than I did in Dallas."
During the two weeks between the events, Morris and Bonin couldn't pick out just one thing that was causing these issues with Morris' throws, so the two returned to the basics and a very accurate and consistent Morris showed up in Ann Arbor.
