Spike Albrecht, a point guard from Crown Point, Ind., has become the fourth member of Michigan’s 2012 basketball recruiting class, verbally committing to the school Friday night, per tweets from his high school, Clint Swan, and prep school, Northfield Mount Hermon.

The 6-foot, 165-pound guard is currently on a visit to Michigan.

“He’s one of those kids you appreciate him the more you see him and that happened with Michigan,” said John Carroll, his prep school coach at Northfield Mount Hermon. “They’ve seen eight of his games either live or on tape and you just start to realize he plays the same way every single game.
