There are roughly eight spots left in Michigan's 2013 class, and there are still a few needs to fill. Some of the top prospects in the nation are still considering Michigan, and it would be tough to turn away those kinds of recruits. So WolverineNation will rank the top 12 uncommitted prospects for Michigan based on need and want leading up to the spring game.
Tom's pick: DB Cameron Walker (Los Angeles/Loyola)
Michigan is still looking to land one more bigger cornerback in this class, and Walker fits the bill. He is still a little under the radar, but after camp and combine season he should have a ton of offers. Walker is very interested in Michigan and will be on campus for the spring game on April 14. He and his coach are familiar with Brady Hoke and his staff from their days at San Diego State. Because he's under the radar he might decide to wait and see what other offers will come through, but there's a chance this visit to Ann Arbor could blow him away.
Chantel's pick: LB E.J. Levenberry Jr. (Woodbridge, Va./C. D. Hylton)
Michigan isn't lacking at the linebacker position by any means, and if Michigan doesn't land Levenberry, it won't be the end of the world. But he would add a ton of depth in the Wolverines linebacking corps. He has great instincts and fits the bill as far as size and speed. If the Wolverines can get him and Gedeon in addition to Mike McCray, they might have the best 2013 linebacker class in the country.
Readers' pick: WR Devon Allen (Phoenix/Brophy Prep)
gdavis23: A player with elite speed as well and above average height. Will help open national recruiting.
jfsbears: Getting those big WRs is great, but we can't forget about the speed guys. I also like the track guys.
brian.d.vaneck: Speedster from the desert, smart kid, perfect slot guy to catch deep fastballs from Morris.
vivz89: Speedy slot guys still have value.
umdetroitfam: Our new breed of slot receiver, no more slot ninjas.
Ryan75342: Another WR who has great downfield speed and can really take the top off the defense to open things up for Shane Morris.
gadler12378: Like his speed and acceleration in and out of cuts. Nice release off the line.
dvdhplee: Michigan won't have a speedy, elusive receiver once Gallon graduates.
