Michigan has had past success with De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif., with wide receiver Amani Toomer and quarterback Matt Gutierrez. The coaching staff is now hoping to continue that trend in the 2013 class with linebacker Michael Hutchings.

The ESPNU 150 Watch List backer already holds an offer from the Wolverines, as well as USC, Oklahoma, Miami and Tennessee to name a few.

His team is fresh off a 42-0 win over Granada High School in the state playoffs, so he isn't putting too much time into his recruitment yet. That will change, though, once the playoffs are done.
