Throughout the recruiting process certain prospects will become hot commodities and they'll see their stock rise at various times. If this was the stock market, offensive lineman Hunter Bivin (Ownesboro, Ky./Apollo) would be on the buy list.
Bivin has seen offers roll in from Michigan, Ohio State, Auburn, Notre Dame and most recently LSU.
"It's all really exciting. I don't have any favorites yet, so it's going to be a tough decision," Bivin said.
To say the least. It's only February and Bivin already holds 12 big-time offers from programs across the country.
"These last few weeks have been very busy, he has received over seven offers in the last week," said Billy Cooper, one of his coaches at Apollo. "Things are starting to go his way."
Bivin said he would like to try to get a top list set up by the summer time. It's a list that could include the Wolverines.
"(Michigan) is a Big Ten powerhouse," he said. "I really like the coaches. Coach (Darrell) Funk seems to really know his stuff, and all the tradition they have there."
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound lineman has been hearing from more and more schools as of late, including the likes of Oklahoma.
The attention Bivin is getting hasn't really surprised him because he feels he has worked hard for this. While he might not be surprised he has been humbled and continues to keep a level head about his recent success.
