McGary, Stauskas talk Hoophall Classic

January, 16, 2012
On Sunday, 2012 power forward commit Mitch McGary and the Brewster Academy men's basketball team extended their record to a perfect 14-0 after a 57-53 win over Tilton High School (N.H.). McGary was held to just three points but grabbed 12 rebounds in the win. McGary's lack of production was largely due to Nerlens Noel, the No. 2 recruit in the 2013 class.

Also competing on Sunday in the Hoophall Classic was fellow 2012 forward commit Nik Stauskas and the St. Mark's basketball team. The Lions beat Friends Central (Pa.), 67-57. Stuaskas had 16 points, four rebounds and two assists for St. Mark's and was 5-of-12 from the field (2-of-6 from range).
