2013 prospects hearing from U-M

October, 20, 2011
Michigan coaches are taking full advantage of their bye week and heading out on the recruiting trail. Prospects all over the country have had Michigan coaches in their school, but communication is still limited per NCAA rules.

Here are a few quick hitters from some of the 2013 prospects hearing from Michigan recently:
"One of the Michigan coaches came by my school. They're just waiting for my highlight tape to come out before they offer. It will probably be out towards the end of the season. I don't know too much about Michigan yet, but I'm going to give all the schools an opportunity."

  • Jake Butt (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North): Defensive End - 6-5, 220 pounds

"The defensive line coach (Jerry Montgomery) was in my school today. I will probably be going up to Michigan for the Ohio State game (Nov. 26). They said they will definitely know about an offer for me by then."
