ESPN 100 running backs Alvin Kamara and Derrick Green can score from anywhere on the field thanks to their breakaway speed, an attribute that makes them very attractive recruits to the Oregon Ducks. Oregon's pursuit of the duo headlines this week’s #BlueChipBattles.

• After decommitting from Clemson, No. 1 prospect Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Ga./Grayson) took an unofficial visit to Ole Miss with his parents, older brother and his father’s niece on Saturday. While there had been speculation that Nkemdiche could commit to the Rebels over the weekend, there was no public change in his recruitment. Nkemdiche and his mother have stated that no final decision is imminent, with his mother targeting national signing day and Nkemdiche saying he will probably announce in January but that he could also commit when it feels right. The Rebels are still considered the team to beat, but the longer his recruitment lasts, the more opportunities that programs such as Alabama, Clemson and Georgia will have to convince Nkemdiche that their program is the best fit for him.
• ESPN 150 defensive lineman Montravius Adams (Vienna, Ga./Dooly County) took an unofficial visit to Clemson over the weekend, giving his mother her first look at the Tigers. The visit went well, and Clemson has a chance to secure a coveted official visit from the No. 7 prospect in the country. Next up for Adams is taking in a high school game with ESPN 300 offensive lineman Brandon Kublanow (Marietta, Ga./Walton), a University of Georgia commitment who has become close friends with Adams over the past few months. Adams will take his mom on another unofficial visit to Alabama Nov. 24 for the Iron Bowl against Auburn. Then his official visits will begin, with LSU, Oregon and USC mentioned as three Adams plans to take. Clemson has positioned itself to have a strong chance at being No. 4.
• Another ESPN 150 target on campus at Clemson over the weekend was Tramel Terry (Goose Creek, S.C./Goose Creek), a University of Georgia commitment. Terry took his first official visit to Clemson last month, and returned after visiting Georgia Nov. 3 for the Ole Miss game. Clemson is selling Terry on making an impact in the backfield, while Georgia has mentioned the possibility of playing multiple positions in Athens. He told DawgNation after his official visit that he was solid to the Bulldogs and intended on enrolling early at Georgia, but his recruitment warrants monitoring with the return trip to Clemson. He is expected to take his official to Georgia next month.

ESPN 150 defensive lineman Montravius Adams (Vienna, Ga./Dooly County) was in Athens on Saturday for his second Georgia game this season. But unlike the unofficial visit for the Tennessee matchup in September, Adams brought a special guest with him for the game against Ole Miss: his mother.
Adams has acknowledged that his mother, Debbie Young, will be a key influence on his decision. A single mother, Young works long hours so that she can take care of Adams and his sisters. Upon his return, Adams said the visit made a good impression – on both of them.

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- After defeating Columbus (Ga.) Pacelli 47-14 on Friday, ESPN 150 prospect Montravius Adams (Vienna, Ga./Dooly County) admitted that at the moment, he felt more comfortable in a 4-3 defense than a 3-4. Two programs in pursuit of Adams -- Alabama and Georgia -- run a 3-4 base defense, and another -- Florida -- also utilizes three-man defensive lines quite often. On Saturday, Adams was in Tuscaloosa, where the Crimson Tide staff made sure to showcase their plans to use him.
“Coach [Nick] Saban and Coach Rumph told me they want to use me like Marcell Dareus and keep me on the outside,” Adams said. “Seeing them play and thinking about that made me think more about the 3-4, because a lot of teams in the NFL use that. Alabama is still pretty high on my list. As long as I am able to make a lot of plays, it does not matter what scheme I play in.”
Adams arrived at Alabama at about 1 p.m. on Saturday and immediately went to speak with head coach Nick Saban in his office. He then spent some time with assistants Jeremy Pruitt and Chris Rumph, toured the campus and headed to Bryant-Denny Stadium to watch the Tide take on Mississippi State. During pregame warmups, something on the field caught the eye of Adams.

Getting ESPN 150 prospect Montravius Adams (Vienna, Ga./Dooly Co.) on campus for a game is huge for any college hoping to sign the 6-foot-3, 305-pound defensive tackle. So with Georgia set to lose starting defensive linemen John Jenkins and Abry Jones, having Adams in town Saturday was big news for the Bulldogs. Jenkins echoed that statement himself after the game.
“I spoke to John Jenkins after the game, and he said he wants me to continue the tradition of great defensive linemen at Georgia,” Adams said. “He thinks I could be that guy to come in and play his role next year. When I first met him he said he would be like a brother to me. So it meant a lot to hear that from him, a guy about to go in the first round of the NFL draft. I hope I can be that type of player in college.”
Adams did not witness an offensive struggle Saturday between Georgia and Tennessee, but the ESPN 150 prospect did see an opportunity to make an instant impact "between the hedges."

In what is now widely considered to be the fourth-best state as far as FBS football talent is concerned, the 2013 class in Georgia could be the deepest group of talent to come out of the Peach State. More than 200 prospects are claiming offers at the moment, which would easily surpass the 170-180 FBS signees the state has averaged over the last three years. In this feature, RecruitingNation takes a look at the top five remaining uncommitted prospects in Georgia.

The University of Alabama will host its one-day offensive line/defensive line camp on Saturday, and prospects from across the southeast are expected to be in town to compete. The camp became even more important for the Crimson Tide after top defensive end prospect Robert Nkemdiche committed to Clemson on Thursday. The UA coaching staff will get a chance to evaluate other potential options at the position. Here’s a look at three key players who will be on campus over the weekend.
