Tashawn Bower is ready for final visit
By Dave Hooker
It's hard to overstate the importance of Tashawn Bower's final visit of his recruitment.
The Auburn Tigers will have one last chance to hold onto the ESPN 150 defensive end from Somerville (N.J.) Immaculata. It was a chance they were never guaranteed.
The nation's No. 132 prospect will take this weekend's visit to the plains at his own expense since he already took his official visit to Auburn last fall. That visit helped solidify his commitment the Tigers. Can this one do the same?
"Not much to learn," Bower said previewing the visit. "Just want to see the coaches in their place and re-evaluate."
Bower will travel to Auburn from Friday to Sunday. He said he will announce his final decision on national signing day in Edison, N.J.
Bower said he's not sure what time he'll announce and that he doesn't currently have a set list of finalists. He has taken recent official visits to Florida State, Florida and LSU.
