Nkemdiche, Kamara get a visitor
By Gary Laney
Defensive end Robert Nkemdiche, the ESPN 150's top-rated recruit, and cornerback David Kamara have talked about visiting LSU together for a while.
They moved one step closer to that Tuesday.
LSU defensive line coach Brick Haley visited the pair at their high school, Grayson High in Loganville, Ga., on Tuesday and Kamara said they discussed a visit to Baton Rouge.
"I talked to him for a while," Kamara said of Haley. Of an LSU visit, he texted, "It's probably going to be the last weekend before signing day."
That would mean Feb. 1 if they arrive on Friday, as is the norm on weekend visits. National signing day is the next Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Nkemdiche said earlier Tuesday that he was pondering visiting Florida this weekend. Visiting LSU in February would allow Nkemdiche to make official visits to Florida, Ole Miss and LSU in consecutive weekends before signing day.
Kamara said he will visit Kentucky, which has also given him an offer, this weekend.
