It certainly wasn't the star-studded show of bluechips the Tigers hosted for Alabama, but Saturday's win against Mississippi State saw plenty of talent in its own right.

ESPN 150 Kendell Beckwith (Clinton, La./East Feliciana) made the trip to Baton Rouge for a second consecutive week. His original plan was to take in the Alabama-Texas A&M game in Tuscaloosa, Ala., but his high school playoff schedule made that unworkable.

Several LSU commitments also dropped in on the proceedings. That's no big deal for local guys like Jeryl Brazil (Loranger, La./Loranger), who took in yet another game. But ESPN 300 defensive end Frank Herron (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis Central) made the trip from out of town for a second straight weekend -- that's dedication.

Both LSU juco commits, wide receiver Quantavius Leslie (Hoganville, Ga./Hinds CC) and tight end Logan Stokes (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Northeast Mississippi CC), made the trip as well.
