LSU rallied from a nine-point deficit in the final two minutes against No. 16 Mississippi State, but the late offensive flurry wasn’t enough to spark an upset.

The Bulldogs (17-4, 4-2) nailed late-game free throws when they needed to, helping them hang on to a 76-71 victory against a resilient effort from LSU (12-8, 2-4).
