One of the main talking points for the entire week at LSU's July high school camp has been the play of wide receiver Trey Quinn (Lake Charles, La./Barbe).
Quinn was a standout during all four days of the camp. It seemed like the junior made every type of catch and beat his coverage on every type of route. Quinn's speed has been discussed at length around the state, and it certainly lived up to the hype.
All of those factors combined to earn the two-sport athlete a football scholarship from LSU coach Les Miles on Wednesday morning. Quinn's father confirmed that he picked up an offer to play for the Tigers just before checkout time on the final day of camp.
