LSU seniors Brandon Taylor, Deangelo Peterson and Will Blackwell have been selected to play in the 2012 Senior Bowl, the school announced in a release Friday.

The trio has been tabbed to represent the South squad in the game, which will be played Jan. 28 in Mobile, Ala.

Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan and the Redskins’ staff will take charge of the South squad.

Blackwell, one of the nation's top guards, earned All-SEC and All-America honors. Taylor finished second on the Tigers with 71 tackles from his safety spot.

Peterson, a tight end, caught 18 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown in five starts -- good enough for third on the team.
