ATHENS, Ga. -- For most high school players, the end of practice means they get a break from the incessant nagging and ceaseless instruction of their coaches. They go home, eat dinner, study and enjoy the respite until the whistles start blowing next time. For ESPN Watch List safety Quincy Wilson (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./University School), that is not the case.
Wilson’s father is the defensive coordinator and the defensive backs coach at the University School, so Wilson jokes that he gets no respite.
“Oh no, there’s no break, there’s no break,” Wilson said. “Monday through Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yeah, I get it at practice, before practice, after practice, in the car, at the dinner table ...”
The talented junior laughed about the nonstop instruction but he also credited his father with making him the player he is today -- one of the most coveted safeties in Florida.

Tigers 13th in Way-Too-Early Top 25

And with three national championships in the past four years, there's no reason to change the team that's on top. With so many players leaving early for the NFL, LSU has some ground to make up at No. 13.

The father of Andy Bauer (St. Louis/De Smet) told ESPN’s RecruitingNation Wednesday morning that the ESPN Watch List offensive tackle had decommitted from Missouri. The big question now: What’s next?
Craig Bauer said his son, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound tackle, was looking to explore all options and make a decision sometime in the spring of 2013. Bauer has more than 30 offers from FBS programs, including Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Florida State, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Notre Dame. He also has looks from Oregon, USC and Wisconsin.
“Right now, he’s looking around and seeing what’s out there,” Craig Bauer said. “Missouri’s still high up there, but he’s looking at other options. Missouri’s cool with him doing this. They want him to make the right decision.”

David Dawson announces new top three

The No. 1 offensive guard in the nation has put out a new top three and it has a Big Ten feel as Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin -- in no particular order -- will now be in a dogfight for the services of David Dawson (Detroit/Cass Tech).
The 6-foot-4, 282-pound senior -- ranked 87th overall in the ESPN 150 -- was thought to be a heavy lean toward Florida after taking an official visit on Oct. 19.

2015 RB Jordan Scarlett has early top four

CINCINNATI -- Even the best players in the country get a little nervous sometimes.
Jordan Scarlett (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./University School), one of the premier sophomores nationally, wasn’t sure he would even be able to run his route on the first play of the game against top Ohio program Trotwood-Madison. It was Scarlett’s first career start.
“It was kind of nerve-racking,” he said. “The first play I messed up. I caught the bubble screen and started stuttering and my legs got weak. They were about to give out on me.”

It was a long trip to Baton Rouge, La., for 2014 cornerback Damon Webb (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech), but it certainly paid off.
Webb became the latest 2014 prospect to secure an offer from LSU during Day 3 of the Tigers' July camp. Webb finished up his workout for the LSU coaching staff Wednesday afternoon, and he had some time to share his thoughts on what is now his seventh scholarship offer.
"I wasn't expecting it, but I was hoping I would get an offer," Webb said. "I felt good, because LSU is a great school and they offered me -- that felt really good."
Webb became the latest 2014 prospect to secure an offer from LSU during Day 3 of the Tigers' July camp. Webb finished up his workout for the LSU coaching staff Wednesday afternoon, and he had some time to share his thoughts on what is now his seventh scholarship offer.

The pledge gives the Tigers 10 commitments for 2013 and adds an explosive offensive threat as well as their first true running back in the class.
Adam Taylor, a 6-foot-1, 210-pound running back from Texas powerhouse Katy High, committed to the Tigers after a junior season that was marred by a season-ending knee injury in the season's first game.
The pledge gives the Tigers 10 commitments for 2013 and adds an explosive offensive threat as well as their first true running back in the class.

Cam Burrows (Trotwood, Ohio/Trotwood-Madison) has more than a year before his 2013 class signs letters of intent, but the ESPN Watch List defensive back is ready to make a decision this week.
Burrows, who can play either cornerback or safety, will announce his college decision at 4:30 p.m. ET Thursday at Trotwood-Madison.
“I want to get it out of the way before my senior season,” said Burrows, who helped the Rams to a Division II state title this past season. “I kind of have an idea of where I want to go. I’ve been thinking about it this week, and I want to be able to focus on my senior season and not worry about recruiting and maybe graduate early.”
Burrows, who can play either cornerback or safety, will announce his college decision at 4:30 p.m. ET Thursday at Trotwood-Madison.
