Manziel has posted some impressive numbers, including setting the freshman quarterback record for rushing yards and total offense on his way to becoming the first freshman to pass for at least 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a single season.
Having given Manziel his due, upon closer examination it becomes clear that he isn't even the best Heisman quarterback candidate in the SEC.

Murray among Heisman Predictor’s 18 picks
The Predictor is back, and within this piece Insider Ryan McCrystal lays out scenarios that could get the job done for 18 Heisman Trophy candidates, including Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.Nationally, USC quarterback Matt Barkley is the early favorite. But if you're looking for a favorite out of the SEC, it's probably Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson, who passed for 3,639 yards last season.
The other five SEC players making the list were Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray, Arkansas running back Knile Davis, Missouri quarterback James Franklin, South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore and Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray.
