ATHENS, Ga. -- Week two of Spring camp had the Georgia Bulldogs hitting the practice field in full pads while preparing for a scrimmage on Saturday. Position battles and projected performances dominated the questions we received for this edition of the DawgNation Mailbag.

Adam (Charlotte): What is your view on the post-Aaron Murray quarterback position battle? Brice Ramsey comes out very highly recruited but played in a pure running team and didn't really showcase his talents. Could the big bad SEC be too much for him?

Mark Richt 7-on-7s: Day 2 standouts

ATHENS, Ga. -- On the second and final day of the Mark Richt 7-on-7 camp, there were fewer teams on the University of Georgia intramural fields, but no shortage of talent. Several prospects emerged at the skill positions, as well as a couple of impressive performances in the lineman 1-on-1 competition held by defensive line coach Rodney Garner and offensive line coach Will Friend.

One prospect stood out above all, and the rising sophomore left with a rare early offer from the Bulldogs.

ATH Terry Godwin (Hoganville, Ga./Callaway) With three-quarters of the Georgia coaching staff watching, including head coach Mark Richt, Godwin put on a show in the semifinal matchup versus Leesburg, Fla. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound rising sophomore made several interceptions on defense, as well as scoring at will at wide receiver. Godwin started on both sides of the ball as a freshman for head coach Pete Wiggins, and he could project to either side at the next level. At one point Godwin made back to back touchdown catches, with an interception in between, causing Richt to look across the field at receivers coach Tony Ball and give two thumbs up while grinning ear to ear. Godwin earned an offer at the end of the tournament, and deservedly so. Coming off another impressive camp performance at Alabama, Godwin looks to be one of the top prospects in Georgia for the 2015 class.
