Georgia’s Jarvis Jones and Bacarri Rambo -- both first-team All-Americans last season -- headline the eight Bulldogs named to the 2012 preseason Coaches All-SEC Team on Thursday.

Outside linebacker Jones and safety Rambo are Georgia’s two first-team selections after leading the Bulldogs’ defensive resurgence in 2011 -- Jones by leading the league with 13.5 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss and Rambo by posting an SEC-high eight interceptions.

Quarterback Aaron Murray, who set a program record with 35 touchdown passes last season, made the second team alongside noseguard John Jenkins.

Senior defensive end Abry Jones, linebacker Alec Ogletree, cornerback Sanders Commings and receiver Malcolm Mitchell all received third-team honors.

Defending BCS champion Alabama and LSU led the league with 11 selections apiece, with LSU placing seven players on the first team alone. Arkansas is third with 10 players on the list.
