The Georgia Bulldogs might no longer be part of the race for defensive end Kenderius Whitehead (Lithonia, Ga./Martin Luther King). The long-time Georgia fan and highly prized recruit reportedly told his head coach Mike Carson today that he is down to two schools.

“He came in this morning and inquired about having a press conference to announce his decision,” Carson said. “I asked him what was going on and he basically said he has narrowed it down to NC State and Clemson. He wants to get it done and over with. I told him I would check with the principal and see if we could put together a press conference. Hopefully we can have one by Friday.”

After word started circulating that he had eliminated the Bulldogs, Whitehead sent out a message via Twitter.
