Huggins hoping dream offer is next

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After recording 64 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries and one fumble return for a touchdown, sophomore defensive lineman Albert Huggins (Orangeburg, S.C./Orangeburg-Wilkinson) was given his first offer by South Carolina last November. The moment helped the promising 6-foot-2, 279-pound prospect realize his future was potentially bright.

“To get my first offer, with me only being in 10th grade, made me feel like I was doing something special with the effort I was putting in,” Huggins said.
