UGA gets CB Brendan Langley on campus

Five months ago, the University of Georgia took the lead for its top cornerback target, ESPN 300 prospect Brendan Langley (Marietta, Ga./Kell). The lead was short-lived, as one month later Langley had a new top three of Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee after a “misunderstanding” with the Georgia staff. Three months later the 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete committed to South Carolina.

Last weekend, the Bulldogs had Langley back on campus, along with his teammate and Georgia defensive back commitment Quincy Mauger (Marietta, Ga./Kell). It started off like any other unofficial visit, with time spent with the coaching staff.

“I talked to Coach Mike Bobo, Coach Todd Grantham and Coach Mark Richt, and they told me how bad they want me, how they could use me, and not to worry about the number of corners we have committed,” Langley said.
