Steven Nelson is looking forward to his last season at College of the Sequoias. A native of Warner Robins, Ga., the 6-foot, 185-pound cornerback and Georgia commitment says that despite the weather in California, he longs to be back in the Peach State. In four months he will get his wish.

“It is an amazing feeling,” Nelson said. “I am just trying to keep my mind of off recruiting and get through these last classes so I can get out of here. I am trying to have as little stress as possible.”

But being a highly sought after juco prospect can make lying low rather difficult. Coaches, reporters, even fans all seem to want part of Nelson’s day.
