Less than two months before signing day, and still the Georgia Bulldogs are without a commitment from a defensive back. The staff is still in pursuit of top targets, including Chaz Elder (College Park, Ga./Banneker) and Yuri Wright (Ramsey, N.J./Don Bosco Prep), and they recently informed Will Redmond (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis East) and Sheldon Dawson (Memphis, Tenn./Ridgeway) that they would received offers during their official, and they have been evaluating others like Trae Elston (Oxford, Ala./Oxford).

Last week, Georgia recruiting coordinator Rodney Garner got back in touch with another talented cornerback prospect, Brandon Beaver (Compton, Calif./Dominguez) on the West Coast.

"Coach Garner came by the school two times during the spring, but I did not hear from them again until two weeks ago," Beaver said. "We have been talking on the phone, and he told me they watched my film; they are really interested in me."
