ATHENS, Ga. -- Tight end Milan Richard (Savannah, Ga./Calvary Baptist Day School) shrugged off the difficulty of one of the multiple touchdown catches he had at Georgia’s Dawg Night. The 6-foot-2, 232-pound junior was exceptionally impressive in the pass skeleton drills on Friday night and thinks that tough catches are part of the job description for a tight end.

“I had a corner route, and I turned around and the ball was right on me,” Richard said. “I just made an adjustment and pulled it in. The coaches said I had a good night. There were a few little things I could have worked on or gotten better on but I think it was a successful camp overall.”

The only thing Richard didn’t catch at Dawg Night was an offer from Georgia. That might soon come to pass.

“I talked to Coach [Mark] Richt at the end of the camp and he said they were going to meet as a staff and talk about it,” Richard said. “I will give the coaches a call in the next week or so and we will go from there.”
