As DawgNation evaluates all of the positions on the Georgia Bulldogs football team at the midpoint of the season, we also will look ahead to who might be filling those positions in the 2013 recruiting class.

Running back targets

Just as with the quarterback position, the Bulldogs have already received a commitment from one of the top 2013 running back prospects in the the Southeast. In fact, Derrick Henry (Yulee, Fla./Yulee) committed with Brice Ramsey (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County) at the same time during the Dawg Night camp this past summer. If Henry stays true to his commitment, the Bulldogs will be getting a record-setting running back who racked up more than 5,000 rushing yards and 65 touchdowns in his first two years of high school. Henry is a big back, towering at 6-foot-3 and weighting 231 pounds. His size has led to a number of offers as a linebacker, but Henry is adamant that he will play running back at the next level. With numbers like his, plus his 4.7 speed in the 40-yard dash, the Bulldogs coaches can't wait to see him in the backfield.
