Turning point: Georgia Tech running back David Sims scored a second-effort touchdown on second-and-goal, cutting Georgia's lead to 14-10 late in the second quarter.

Stat of the half: 165. Georgia Tech's option offense has been effective, totaling 165 yards on 29 rushing attempts -- an average of 5.7 yards per carry.

Best player in the half: Aaron Murray. Georgia's quarterback enjoyed an excellent first half, completing 13 of 18 passes for 193 yards and touchdown passes to Michael Bennett and Chris Conley. Murray also leads the Bulldogs with 35 rushing yards.
