The bowl season isn't just about games. Sure, that's what the fans invest their time into, but there's way more to it than just 60 minutes of football and a shiny trophy.

Players and coaches get a week to frolic around the bowl city and dive into a fun week away from the norms of a regular game week. There are amusement parks, milkshake contests and museums to check out.

There are also sweet bowl gifts and swag that players are rewarded with by making it to the postseason. Trinkets and gift certificates add to the fun that is bowl week for all of these players.

Each year, the Sports Business Journal lets us exactly what all these players will be getting for making bowl games.

This year, the ever popular gift suites are getting a nice upgrade. Not only could players get jewelry, high-end electronics or a mountain bike, but there's a home-theater recliner that you can plug your electronics that's part of the gift suite. I'm sure plenty of players would love to come home to that after a long day of practice.

Here's the deal on gift suites:
Gift suites are set up as private events in which game participants, and often bowl VIPs, are given an order form and allowed to select a gift, or gifts, up to a value that is predetermined by each specific bowl, not to exceed the NCAA limit of $550 per person.
